IndigenACTION is an initiative of the AFN Executive and the AFN Youth Council.  The AFN youth Council, Olympian Waneek Horn Miller and the AFN Chief Atleo will announce IndigenACTION, which will engage a dialogue focused on improving and enhancing opportunities for First Nations through sport, fitness and partnerships.  Through IndigenACTION, the AFN will harness the spirit of the Vancouver Olympic Games and work together to ensure our young people have the opportunities to achieve their dreams in sports and fitness. As part of the launch of the intiative, the first ever AFN run, walk and roll led by ultra marathoner Ray Zahab will commence on Sunday July 18th 2010 at 9:30 am after a press conference at the University of Winnipeg's Duckworth Centre track, 2nd floor, 400 Spence St.
