The Aboriginal Sport, Recreation and Physical Activity Partners Council, through the oversight and coordination of its Provincial Hockey Committee, will be hosting a three-day Player Selection Camp to evaluate and select the province’s top Aboriginal male and female hockey players to represent British Columbia at the 2012 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships (NAHC), to be held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, May 6 – 12, 2012.

DATE:  Friday, March 30 - Sunday, April 1, 2012
LOCATION:  Shulus Community Arena, 2164 Neale Rd.
Lower Nicola Band (Merritt, BC)
 
Pre-registration is mandatory.  No "day-of" or "walk-in" registrations will be accepted.  
Registration Deadline:  5pm PST, Monday, March 26th, 2012.
There is a $100 Camp Registration Fee per player.  Fee includes a Team BC Player Selection Camp jersey.
*Note:  Registrants will also be required to submit a 2nd cheque for $200, which is the Team BC Fee.  This cheque will ONLY be cashed IF the player is selected to Team BC.  
 
Players must meet the following criteria to be eligible to participate in the Camp:
 
Male:  Bantam or Midget age as of the 2011/12 competitive season (born 1994 to 1998 inclusive)
Female:   Bantam or Midget age as of the 2011/12 competitive season (born 1994 to 1998 inclusive) and those born 1992 to 1993 inclusive (as the female team can carry four (4) overage players).  (Note: the Camp will be open to age eligible female players that reside in the Yukon)
Resident of British Columbia and of Aboriginal ancestry (First Nations, Inuit, Métis)
Registered with BC Hockey or another Hockey Canada Branch
